I engaged Aaron Humphreys to undertake design work on my house in Ngaio. The brief was to add on all new living areas to the rear of the dwelling, as well as internal alterations to the existing house. What impressed me about Aaron was his ability to listen to our needs but also offer suggestions that proved to be really useful. I never got the feeling he was trying to put his own stamp on the project to the detriment of ours. Our needs were his priority and he was able to translate those into the design without any fuss. Aaron is a great communicator. Of all the people involved in the project he was the most accessible and first to return a phone call – a quality not to be undervalued! The design he came up with was everything we wanted and more, and all within the budget we had discussed. The end result is outstanding and it is a pleasure to live in. He followed the Consent process through Council and any potential issues were skillfully and quickly resolved between Aaron and the contractors on site.
