Island Bay Development

This duplex was designed for an investor seeking to maximise the return on a site previously occupied by a single older dwelling. The existing house was demolished and replaced with two double-storey units, identical in size and layout but mirrored in design. Located directly opposite the beach, each unit features full-height glazed doors opening onto front decks with glass balustrades, taking full advantage of the coastal setting. Large single garages with internal access are integrated with the entrance level, while upstairs, spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living areas are enhanced by skylights that capture natural light from the north.
